History proves investing in an exploration stage diamond stock can gain +13,100% in a short time period. The historical precedent is Charles Fipke's Dia Met Minerals & Cabada's first diamond mine, Ektaki.
The above actually happened in the early 1990’s over the course of 24 months. The stock was Dia Met Minerals Ltd., which had the honor of discovering what became Canada’s first diamond mine, Ekati, in the Lac de Gras region some 300 km northeast of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Dia Met Minerals had only 15 kimberlite pipes; CMKX has many, many more plus other metals and minerals to mine or sell to other interested mining companies.
Prior to the discovery, in June 1991 the stock was trading at $ 0.50; however, 24 months later the price was $66.00 per share – a 13,100% gain or a gain of 131 times. The $66.00 high was on news of bulk sampling results from four additional kimberlite diamond pipes discovered. The total number of kimberlites discovered had also increased from one to 15 at that time.
In 2002, BHT purchased Dia Met Minerals for $21 per share or $687 million.
Below is the link to an article titled Anatomy of A Stock Market Winner by James Dartnell. This article helps one understand the stages of mining exploration and how the price/share can correlate with the different stages of a mining operation.
And remember..CMKX is probably very undervalued compared to where Dia Met Minerals started its run, not to mention that this run was based on 15 kimberlites, whereas CMKM has many, many more kimberlite pipes and land.
