The Coalition for Luggage Security Reports A United States Marine on the No-Fly List
Thursday April 13, 10:30 am ET
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 2006--The Coalition for Luggage Security, and its Founder, a former Marine, are appalled at the insulting and inflexible bureaucracy of our Transportation Security Administration (TSA) by refusing to allow a United States Marine in uniform returning with his unit onto an American flight as he was coming back after serving his country 16 months in Iraq.

The reason? There were traces of gun powder on his military boot in Iraq! "As an American citizen and former Marine, I demand an apology from one of these uniformed TSA non-combatants that would treat an American hero in this fashion," said Richard A. Altomare, Founder and Chairman of the Coalition for Luggage Security, and CEO of Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB: USXP - News)
"I'm proud that Sergeant Dan Brown's Marine unit refused to report to their post until the 'man left behind' was permitted to get on a passenger plane."
"Once again, let's repeat that an American Marine in uniform with his unit returning from combat and had gunpowder on a boot and now needs political help in being removed from a terror no-fly list."
"This TSA's bloated bureaucracy with documented insensitive treatment of countless Americans really rings home a need to dismantle their growing airport agency before all American freedoms are lost since now even the United States Marines can't help us," continued Mr. Altomare.
"That Marine deserved a parade and a thank-you - not some rent a security bureaucrat and his superiors treating that young Marine so disrespectfully."
"Our Coalition supports a change by minimizing governmental controls (

"World War II movies often parody Nazi requests 'for your papers' and highlight fear in the eyes of helpless citizens in the presence of all powerful uniforms. Are we regressing? Ask that Marine," concluded Mr. Altomare.
