Sheikh Khalifa Al-Sabah, Chairman and Managing Director
Sheikh Khalifa is the main sponsor of the LoadAir IPO. He sits on various company boards including MTC-Zain and Noor Financial Investment Company. Sheikh Khalifa started his career with Deutsche Bank in New York where was involved in project financing. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Williams College
Keith Bolshaw, General Manager
Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, Mr. Bolshaw has gained over 25 years' experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining LoadAir, Mr. Bolshaw was Commercial Director of a British Airways subsidiary, Vice President in Guinness Peat Aviation (GPA) and Managing Director of the UK-based International Bureau of Aviation (IBA). He holds a Masters degree in PPE from Oxford University
Captain Husam Al-Shamlan, Executive Vice President - Operations
During his 35 years in the industry, Captain Al-Shamlan has held numerous senior positions with Kuwait Airways and the Kuwaiti air regulatory authority. In Kuwait Airways, he was Director of Operations and a member of the Board of Directors. He subsequently served with the Kuwait DGCA, where he became Director of the Safety Division. Restructured it and helped secure an official approval of its safety oversight role by both I.C.A.O and the F.A.A. Captain Al-Shamlan holds an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the USA
Eng. Jamal H. Bouresli, Senior Vice President - Corporate Affairs
Mr. Jamal Bouresli has been in the Aviation industry for the last five years. He is a Board Member and Managing Director of Lotus Air, an Egyptian Airline having a fleet of four A320's with bases in Cairo and Hurghada. He is also a Board Member of LoadAir Cargo and Al Fawares Holding Company (a major shareholder in LoadAir). He holds a degree in Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering from the University of Miami.
Eng. Abdul Rahman Buhaimed, Sr. Vice President - Maintenance & Engineering
Mr. Buhaimed joined LoadAir Cargo team in 2006, he has 38 years experience and held various position in Aviation Industry, In Kuwait Airways Corporation as Line Maintenance Manager, Asst. Director of Engineering, Regional Maintenance Manager Europe & USA and responsible for Pilot and Engineering Training, with Boeing Co. in Seattle responsible for Kuwait Airways delivery of its B727 & B747, Seconded to Shorouk Air in Cairo (Joint Venture between Kuwait Airways and Egypt Air) as Technical Director and then as Managing Director, Technical Consultant for Top Management in Kuwait Airways and he was a key member in the Operational Safety Center of Kuwait Airways. He graduated from Scotland as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. He has British CAA and Kuwait DGCA License
Frank Berger, Senior Vice President - Special Projects
Mr. Berger joined the LoadAir team in 2007 after gaining more than 24 years of aviation experience with the Lufthansa Group, where he was engaged in various operational positions and projects in cargo operations after qualifying as a licensed aircraft engineer. During his time in Lufthansa Cargo, he gained broad experience during extended periods working overseas in USA, Africa, Asia and Middle East. His last assignment before joining LoadAir was in China with Jade Cargo, where he was a key member of the start-up team and served as VP Operations and Engineering
Hemant Pradhan, Senior Vice President - Finance
Mr. Pradhan has over 25 years' experience in accounting, finance, audits / assurance, mergers & acquisitions and financial advisory assignments. Mr. Pradhan has been with Loadair since 2007, prior to which he has worked as CFO with YIACO (Kuwait's premier conglomerate) and with Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Horwath International - Public Accountants and various financial advisory firms. Mr. Pradhan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor of USA as well as a licensed Chartered Accountant of India
Capt. Naji Najaf, Sr. Vice President - Operations
Joined LoadAir team in September 2007, Capt. Najaf has over 36 years experience in the airline industry with more than 16,750 hours flying experience on various Boeing / Airbus multi-engines aircrafts. Capt. Najaf started his career with Kuwait Airways Corporation, where he served many managerial and training posts. Before joining LoadAir, he was with Kuwait DGCA as Flight Operations Inspector and also served as Aviation Safety Director. Capt. Naji Najaf has undergone many managerial & safety courses and aircraft Accident Investigation Course.
Eng. Saleh Al-Askar, Sr. Vice President - Head of Information Technology
Mr. Al-Askar has over 25 years experience in Information Technology, Project Management, Systems Analysis and Corporate and Board Governance. Before joining LoadAir in 2008, Mr. Al-Askar held various senior positions in the aviation and I.T. industries including Director of Information Technology with Kuwait Airways; Chairman of Automated systems company, Member of the board of SITA INC, Vice Chair of SITA Group where he introduced the concept of R&D and supervised the operation of the company. During his directorship at Kuwait airways, Mr. Al-Askar was instrumental in the swift recreation of the airline's I.T. infrastructure after its destruction during the 1990 invasion of Kuwait. He had been a lecturer and a keynote speaker at various international industry and aviation forums. Mr. Al-Askar holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
