This is to inform you that your Datek account has incurred a Day-trading margin call. In order to meet
this call, you will need to deposit cash equal to the amount specified. If this call is not met by 11/15/2001,
your account will be marked with a non- payment and you will risk having your account restricted
Day-trading margin calls are created when you exceed your day-trading buying power with trades that open
positions that are then covered the same day.
Please note that you may have multiple margin calls open at the same time. Each margin call must be
met by its respective due date. Liquidations by us to satisfy an early call may result in liquidation
of other calls not yet due.
When funding your account, we strongly recommend that you send any payments by Fed Wire. Otherwise, your
deposit may not be received in time to satisfy your call. If you are going to mail a check, please make
it payable to Datek and send it by overnight delivery. Also, please write on the check your username
