Sir:
It would appear that you are not using the patternz.cfg file to download your data with MLDownloader. The patternz.cfg file puts the data in a form that is usable by Patternz. The current form of your data is:
01/19/2002 72.40 73.88 70.19 70.19 8668036.
I have attached the patternz.cfg file to this e-mail.
To use the patternz.cfg file in MLDownloader:
1) Highlight a ticker list you want to download.
2) Click on Download......Get Quotes.... The "Get Quotes" screen will come up.
3) Click on Options at the bottom of the Get Quotes screen.
4) On the "Options" screen make sure "ASCII file format" is checked.
5) Click on the .... after "ASCII file format".
6) Locate in the "Select an ASCII configuration file!" dialog box the directory into which you placed the patternz.cfg file you downloaded from this e-mail.
7) Highlight the patternz.cfg file and click on Open.
8) You will be returned to the "Options" screen. Click on "Apply". Then click on "OK".
9) Click on "Download historical data" on the "Get Quotes" screen.
Open a data file you received and check it. It should now have comma (,) separators and the date should be in dd-mmm-yy format as shown here:
02-AUG-05,10623.79,10729.60,10600.62,10683.74,2043120000.
If this is so it should be usable with Patternz, if you configured your Patternz File Format as I previously showed you (also attached).
