أغلقت الأسواق الآسيويه اليوم على إرتفاع بينما السوق الأوروبي يعيش حالة ترقب لتقرير البطاله الأمريكي والدولار الأمريكي يرتفع امام الين

اليوم سيكون هناك خبرين هامين جدا :

1. تقرير البطاله الشهري unemployment rate الذي سيصدر قبل إفتتاح السوق بنصف ساعه حيث تقول التوقعات أنه سيرتفع إلى 5.9% بينما السابق كان 5.7% وعدد الوظائف الجديده سيكون 6000 وظيفه بينما السابق كان 39000 وظيفه جديده

2. إعلان أرباح شركة ألكوا AA أكبر مصنع للألمنيوم في العالم حيث تقول التوقعات 26 سنت بينما الربع المقابل قبل عام كان 39 سنت

التحليل الفني للشركه يشير إلى أن الإحتمال الأكبر سيكون أفضل من التوقعات وسيرتفع سعر السهم إلى 21.5 دولار

الناسداك الآن يقع بالقرب من حاجز دعم قوي 1160 وفي حالة صدور تقرير البطاله وارباح الكوا أفضل من التوقعات سيرتفع لناسداك إلى 1200 ولكن في حالة الأخبار ظهرت سلبيه هناك إحتمالين :

1. سينهار السوق والناسداك إلى مستوى منخفض جديد
2. سيتدخل البنك الفيدرالي فورا ويخفض سعر الفائده اليوم وسيرتفع الناسداك إلى 1200

The Labor Department said unemployment fell to 5.6 percent in September, compared with 5.7 percent in August. But employers cut 43,000 jobs from payrolls in September after adding an upwardly revised 107,000 jobs in August. Economists, on average, expected an unemployment rate of 5.9 percent and job growth of 6,000 jobs, according to Briefing.com.

09:10 ET Mentor Graphics expects to exceed consensus (MENT) 4.08: Company expects Q3 earnings and revenues to exceed consensus, with revs in excess of $150 mln (Multex consensus $147.7 mln). Stocks To Watch : A mixed to slightly weaker bias for the pre-market indicators has been reversed in the wake of the better than expected employment report. The unemployment rate ticked down to 5.6%, the average workweek was above consensus at 34.3 and while the Sep nonfarm payroll dropped to -43 K (consensus 6 K) the August report was revised sharply higher (107 K vs previous 39 K).

Contributing to the initial pressure was the warning from EMC Corp (EMC -6.1%). Now expects Q3 revenue of $1.25 bln (consensus $1.4 bln) and an EPS loss of $0.02 (consensus for a loss of $0.01). The fallout has hit the rest of the group hard this morning (NTAP -6.7%, QLGC -6.1%, BRCD -6.7%).

Also warning this morning is Schering Plough (SGP -9.8%). Company puts Q3 earnings in a range from $0.28 to $0.29 (consensus $0.35); sees full yr 2002 earnings roughly flat with yr-ago's $1.58 (consensus $1.62). For 2003, co sees earnings of $1.00-$1.15 (consensus $1.42). SGP was upgraded by SG Cowan this morning. Other companies issuing warnings include: (DPMI, LH, TXU).

Lehman upgraded its sector rating on Exploration & Production to Positive from Neutral and upgraded BR. Firm said slowing storage injection rates and recent production losses resulting from hurricanes should allow the industry to avoid what could have been a sharp gas price decline over the next 30-45 days; favors CNQ, DVN, EOG, NBL, and XTO.

Yet another round of estimate cuts for the semi equipment sector this time from Morgan Stanley. The repeated cuts from the overly optimistic Street analysts for this segment of the market are having a more limited impact each and every time. -- Jim Schroeder, Briefing.com

هل من الممكن ان يخفض البنك الفيدرالي سعر الفائدة فجاءة ( يعني قبل اجتماعهم الدوري المعروف).

Brocade (BRCD) 5.86 -0.66: Stock trading down 10% today after warning from EMC and a couple of downgrades. RBC Capital Mkts downgraded to SECTOR PERFORM from Outperform and lowered price target to $10 from $22. Firm citing: surveys of channel forecasts suggest slower sequential progress for storage and SAN segment in calendar Q4; belief sales of BRCD's 12000 enterprise switch are behind plan at key accounts such as HPQ; McData has captured a key 32-port OEM win at Dell; and have seen some evidence of price declines in the sales channel. Also, CE Unterberg Towbin cut to short-term MKT PERFORM from short-term Buy.

Emulex (ELX) 7.97 -2.06: In pre-open note, RBC Capital Mkts downgraded to SECTOR PERFORM from Outperform and lowered price target to $14 from $25, due to chance of further competitive pressure within HPQ. Firm noting that, QLogic recently won a key HBA program at HPQ for its Unix server platform and is now in position to challenge ELX's NT revenue at this customer; channel surveys suggest tepid sales forecasts for calendar Q4:02 within storage and SAN industry; believes that these issues will impact Emulex's growth prospects, particularly in its FY04 (June). Also, CE Unterberg Towbin downgraded to short-term MKT PERFORM from short-term Buy... ELX currently trading down 20.5%.

مما ادي الي موجة من الداون قريد لهذه الشركات وانخفاض كبير في اسعارها. وخاصة brcd elx

EMC Corp (EMC) 3.82 -1.19: In its pre-open notes, Lehman Brothers reiterates their belief in EMC's turnaround following co's Q3 warning last night. Firm stresses EMC is taking steps in the right direction by reducing its fixed cost structure and increasing its share buyback program; admits that additional cost reductions may be necessary to drive earnings and move the stock higher. Lehman adds that EMC's news may have a negative impact on MCDT and to a lesser extent other networking component cos ... EMS falls off close to 24% despite defense.

هذي الشركه المفعوصه emc هي السبب الظاهر لهبوط السوق اليوم ( السبب الحقيقي تيكنيكال برأيي المتواضع ) . والموضوع يتكلم عن بعض الاصلاحات في الشركة .
